Aishwarya Rai to have lunch with French President Hollande

NEW DELHI (Web Desk) – Bollywood actress and former Miss World Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has been invited to share a meal with the French President Francois Hollande, on January 26 in the capital.

According to Bombay Times, Aishwarya got the invitation from the ambassador of France, Francois Richier, to have lunch with Hollande, who is India’s chief guest at this year’s Republic Day celebrations.

A source close to the actress says that Ash is the only actor invited for the event, which is supposed to be a small gathering with only a handful of guests in attendance. The actress, currently shooting for the Sarbjit Singh biopic and a regular face of Bollywood at Cannes, will be representing Indian cinema at the do.
