British sports car manufacturer Aston Martin took the wraps of its latest concept car, the DC100, at the Goodwood Festival of Speedtoday

The DC100 has been designed to appear in the Gran Turismo 6 computer game, and will be available to download from July 2014

The DP100 is only Aston Martin's second ever mid-engined concept, following the Bulldog of the 1970s

The DC100 was unveiled in the Michelin supercar paddock at the 2014 Goodwood Festival of Speed

Commenting on Aston Martin's DB100, Gran Turismo creator Kazunori Yamauchi, said: 'It made me happy that they selected a mid-engined layout for the car to begin with, because I think for Aston Martin it was a big challenge. But the car itself is very Aston Martin, it is very clean and very premium. And the design language that was used for the car really hints at a new era for Aston Martin'

Aston Martin has no plans to build a production version of the DC100, but says that some of its design elements could appear in future road cars
